Participating in Maastrichts Mooiste, but not running yourself? Come help as a volunteer! We offer our volunteers a super fun experience at a great running event, where professionalism and friendliness are paramount.

Functions
Employee start
You will escort participants to the start boxes and ensure that the start goes smoothly.
Employee finish
You hand out medals, sports drinks or fruit to the finishing participants.
Employee parcours
You will monitor part of the course to ensure the safety of participants and inform local residents.
Issuing start numbers
Together with a team, you hand out start numbers to participants.
Employee Care Station
There are care stations at various points along the course. You will build and dismantle the care station and hand out drinks and/or sponges to passing participants.
Groups of volunteers
You can also sign up as a group together with your teammates or members of your association and boost the club's coffers. We have developed a reward system for clubs and scout groups. Good to know
- The minimum age for volunteer is 16 (for traffic controller it is 18);
- Whenever an instructional evening is given for your position, you will automatically receive an invitation. Make sure you attend;
- You will receive no cash compensation (including travel expenses);
- Voluntary does not mean non-committal. Once registered, we count on your commitment. Should you no longer be able to help, please let us know in time;
- It may happen that you cannot be assigned to the position that was your first choice. We will always take your second choice into account or look for another position for you;
- A number of places from which volunteers operate do not offer a direct view of the event.
